A Hygge House Cozy Mystery
By A. L. Jensen

Midsummer is a time to celebrate life and love, but what happens when marriage vows are paired with murder?
Minna Halonen and her business partner Christie Andersson are planning the wedding of the season, not only for Grace and Jack, but also to highlight their fledgling events business at Hygge House in the charming northern town of Lakewood.
Minna and Christie plan an intimate rehearsal dinner followed by a Midsummer bonfire, and a garden wedding overlooking the serene lake, complete with Nordic fare and a live band.
There’s only one hitch. At the last minute, Jack’s favourite uncle, Richard (Rick) Alcott sends his regrets in a cryptic message but soon has a change of heart. When Uncle Rick doesn’t arrive for the rehearsal dinner, and then skips the wedding, Jack is heartbroken.
Minna’s vision of the perfect Hygge House wedding is shattered when she finds Uncle Rick’s body slumped in a Muskoka chair. Did he die of natural causes? Or did he have a legitimate reason for not wanting to attend the wedding—one that led to his untimely death?

Midsummer, Marriage, and Murder is the second book in the delightful Hygge House Mystery series—where murder meets Nordic comfort in a rustic northern town.
